I write for a couple of reasons, most importantly to make people smile (or better, laugh). If you read one of my stories and smile, I too smile. I also write because I enjoy writing. I never realized that I might have a talent for writing until Mrs. Britsch's English class at BYU. She let me know that I was a good writer. I think I earned a "C" but that was because of my sporadic attendance. There are a variety of stories here, many of them "churchy". Please enjoy.
I am surrounded both by natural beauty and beautiful animals. I use my camera to capture and print images with a focus on the beauty of God's creations. I hope my pictures capture the majesty of His creations.
I've loved taking pictures ever since my dad showed me how to work a camera. I think my first camera was a Kodak 126 camera. I also had a 110 camera. Images from these cameras were not very good. In 1977 my long-suffering parents shipped me off to Fresno for the summer to live with Aunt Ruth May and Uncle Les in Fresno. I worked at Orange Julius and saved my money to buy a Pentax K1000 (which I still own). I especially enjoy wildlife and nature photography. If you take time to focus, there's a picture behind every bush.
